A great.. or good.. information architect does not need to know all these
things. They simply need to know who the people are who know these things
and work well with them!

=D

Subject: [Sigia-l] Little things an IA MUST know/do

Hi everyone.

Do you think among the things that a Great Information Architect must
do/know is to:

Code HTML?

Use Dreamweaver?

Use Flash?

Know about CM?

Be an expert on metadata?

Perform Usability testings?

The point is what other things besides the obvious (site mappings, card
sortings, content mapping, taxonomies, etc) is Great to know in order to
do a Great job?

Please share a little bit of what you do know/do that is not usually
discuss on this list but you think makes you a better professional in
the IA / UX field.

Thanks, I'd really appreciate the input.
