By "scan" I mean read and comprehend quickly. You know, the normal
definition. I didn't think I needed to get more granular than this.

I'm not as omnipotent as you, apparently, and don't trust that every
decision I make is the perfect one. If someone has done testing on a
similar subject that would assist in my decisions, I'd like to see it. I
might not agree with it or think it doesn't apply in my particular
situation, but if it is done well by a reputable firm (and, yes, that
does include NNG), to me there is value in reviewing it.

Applying your logic, one could say that every project has too many
contributing factors for any other person's testing to be useful. But
that, I think, is missing the forest for the trees.
