listed as his contact. Alternatively, he used to work with DecisionPoint 
Applications (http://www.dpapplications.com, info care of 
http://www.softwaremag.com/archive/2000dec/MDemarest.html), so you might be 
able to get in touch with him through there.

Does anyone have a contact email for a guy named Marc Demarest, who's the
author of the essay "Cities of Text" c. 1997?

"Cities of Text" is a great essay on urban design and intranets/knowledge
management. It's been at Hevanet.com until very recently, and now seems to
have vanished (except from Google's cache--grab a copy now).
