These might not help to solve that direct problem, but it might lead to
a little greater understanding between various groups.

Basically, "how can non-hackers try to understand hackers (techies)?"

Basically, "how can hackers try to understand management?".  I don't
know if this relates to what your student is dealing with, but they're
good reads, anyway ;)
