1. Upon closer inspection, you would have found we are not "vendors of a
'pre-packaged' app."  We build software from scratch then modularize it so
that we can apply the specific tools and resources demanded by each client.
In short, we have the deployment time of a package and the quality of a
one-off. This is, of course, only possible if the same team that built it is
the same one customizing it over and over (do not try this at home).

2. We build our own or heavily customize "boxed" code because we ourselves
grew tired of "putrid" packaged software, though the concept behind it is
somewhat sound.  After all, packages have their advantages.

3. Build-from-scratch is inherently wasteful because it a) reinvents the
wheel and b) takes a great deal of time/money.

more time = more activities = more room for error = more delays

Those who have never been on a project described by the above, please pass
the kool-aid. ;)
