[Sigia-l] Selecting multiple options from a list

While links are a great means for navigation, I find it confusing to use
links for selection, especially when selection is multi-selection. This
doesn't work very well at all. B/c when I'm selecting in a taxonomy I
need to be able to both select and to navigate (in the case where there
are sub-categories).

Checkboxes or similar methods allow for selection, while clicking on the
link (the title) will open the object.

Checkboxes are evil browsing devices - links are better. Check out
http://facetmap.com for an example.
