Here's a summary of some of the suggestions I got regarding search query
analysis. Lou posted recently on Bloug a presentation he did at ASIST
Annual on search log analysis. So if you're interested, check it out:
http://louisrosenfeld.com/home/bloug_archive/000137.html for more
information.

If you still come across anything, please feel free to email me. I'd be
happy to continue to compile and post to IA Wiki or something.

I'm still looking for any off the shelf products if you do know of anything.

Thanks,

I throw things into Excel, which is a poor substitute for a dedicated
tool. Keen to learn of some real tools.

The things I'd want on my wish list are:

* conjoint analysis (which terms appear together)
* term equivalency (eg. for mis-spellings)
* trend plotting
* session analysis

The free logfile analyser Analog (http://www.analog.cx/) can do the job,
if you have the skills slash patience to configure it properly.

I use grep and wc,
for bigger jobs I use custom perl code.

squid.
