Talk about your evolution of a brand identity. Pepsi brought on the 'Pepsi
Challenge'. It forced people to take sides. They worked on defining an image
'The Pepsi Generation' and if you wanted to be part of that image you needed
to show your stuff and be seen with Pepsi products (I'm a devout Coke
drinker and moved to the south to avoid being a minority).
This exchange of 'wits' (or 'nits', depending on your perspective) that has
been going on about the introduction (does anyone miss the meaning of that
word?) of AIfIA has stirred up some of the same emotions that Pepsi was
going after.
To show my vote of confidence (in the people most of us who are 'serious'
practitioners consider to be respected colleagues), even during a period of
unemployment (again), I'm going to the site right now and sign up.
I encourage others to do the same...
