In answer to the question "Do you want it done fast or do you want it done
right?" I pose a quasi-koan:

The distinction of working smarter not harder has been a business cliche for
years, yet still rings true.
IA is a way of organizing your thoughts before throwing money at a problem. Is
the rest organized throwing? Depends on the IA and the project.
Does it decrease time to market? What's your hurry? Do we need to dig up
research about companies that didn't validate a business idea first? Timeframes
become much more realizable if your mission is clear.
