David Gelertner's "lifestreams" visualization system has always been
based on chronologicl filing. This is the article that Ziya pointed
to at ACM. He authored a number of journal articles (most unread by
me).

Scopeware is generally classed as a KM tool, but does not (so far as
I know) whiten your teeth.
