I Like where you are going with this Peter ... But I want to be clear
that the practical can't be the only place we have our eye on the ball.

While I agree that business want us to speak in the practical, if we let
them drive us too far down that road we will be loosing our greatest
value. Why do I say that? B/c I feel we are designers (sorry Christina),
and that design is about the visceral. I also don't want to live in a
world where we gain business but stop doing what we wanted to be in
business doing.

What I do like about what you are saying that can work as much for the
emotional as it does for the practical is to not just design and
communicate the design, but also communicate the expectations of the
results. If we communicate that, we can measure against it through lab
or other methodologies and then create success matrices, which will only
speak that much more loudly to our client base.

Now, to a more important issue ... What is it w/ this new "[spam]" tag
that is floating around here lately? Richard?
