Last night (my time), I asked about using a faceted classification 
for navigation, breaking the organisational hierarchy and still 
getting authors to 'their' stuff.

My original gut feeling was confirmed by your answers (thank you) - I 
still intend to have metadata on each content item for 'author/owner' 
and 'team' (or similar) and use these for a range of things.  It 
seemed logical when I first thought of it...

Now I just have to figure out how to communicate better with one of 
my developers.
