Unless you'll use it often, probably not. Service bureaus often have
plotters and can handle it on a per-job basis. Look for bureaus that handle
ad agencies and architects.

What do you mean by 'client compatibility'? Like a large enough wall to hang
the output? :-) PostScript does the job.

Seriously, though, if you're making a chart larger so people can see it
better, that sounds good. But if you need a plotter to output a very complex
and large chart, then perhaps you need to remember that most people have a
hard time deciphering and following charts, let alone big ones.
