It's not, really, in isolation.

The relation (correspondence) between things is where the magic occurs
(it's a continuum). (i.e. who is doing making the distinction, and for
what purpose?) -->

What is important for mutual understanding is a *methodical* achievement
employing the resources provided. So that cognitive and perceptual
faculties are necessary to define, but it's the interaction (the *how*)
and not the content itself which implies the value of any object
