This is simple. Make sure that they all point to the same place.
So...
1) careers.company.com
2) www.company.com/jobs (much shorter, easier to remember)
3) www.company.com/careers
All point to the same URL. I recommend option 2 unless you're running a job
site. It's common, short, and does your jobs section have to be branded
separately? Isn't it part of the company's main site? (Some management nut
will probably chime in here and say that a "career" says more than "job".
Only in your own mind. The average joe job hunting couldn't care less. ;)
