I would have to argue that point... I grew up in St. Louis where people say
"I would like a Coke" which means everything - Sprint, 7Up, Coke, etc. If
you're in Michigan it's sodie pop, Chicago and Kansas it's pop... Although,
I was in shocked when I moved to the Mid-Atlantic and met people from Ohio
who claimed to be from the Midwest... What we learn when we flee our
birth-region!!
