Dear SIG MED members,

Please join me in congratulating Louisa Worthington Rogers on her recent
retirement, and in thanking her for her years of service in ASIST, SIG
MED, and her contributions to the profession.

Louisa retired on September 10, 2008, from her position as Biology,
Medicine and Neurosciences Librarian at the MIT Science
Library after a 38-year career in libraries. She was an information
specialist for several different libraries and institutions over her
career, including the NIH Information Center for Speech, Hearing and
Disorders of Human Communication, Harvard's Countway Library of
Medicine, the Harvard Biological Laboratories, Putnam, Hayes & Bartlett
Inc. (an economic
consulting firm), and, finally, MIT. Louisa has been a contributing
member of ASIST SIG-MED for the past 5-6
years.

Louisa, we will all miss seeing you at ASIST, and truly appreciate all
you have done. We wish you all the best during this new phase of your
life and hope you find much enjoyment and relaxation after such a long
and productive career.

Best wishes,
Jim
