The May 31 deadline is fast approaching for the submission of regular
research papers (max 10 pages, discussing mature work); short papers
(max 4 pages, describing preliminary results, pilot studies, new
thought-provoking ideas, or novel applications/implementations); and
panel session at the ASIST Annual Meeting. See
   http://www.asis.org/asist2010/cfp-papers.html
In the past SIG HFIS has had good experience using "classic" panel
sessions to summarize completed research in the history and theory of
Information Science -- and at least one such session will be proposed
this time.
I would welcome hearing for anyone interested in submitting HFIS-ish
proposals.
