Good day,
I came across this site whilst browsing the web in search of specific information or literature in connection with the subject of the physical combining of two library collections. For the purpose of my thesis, I am researching this subject for implementation at an Institute with two seperate small specialised collections that want to move to one location. Problem is one uses the Basis Classification (developed in the Netherlands for the scientific community online catalogue) and the other uses the UDC as shelf location codes. 
The catalogues have already been combined in Adlib so the aspect I am looking for is literature or experience of, in literally the physical placement.
