What shocking and sad news:( I can hardly believe that Beth passed away. She was a great friend, professor, and colleague to work with. I'm extremely saddened by her death. For all FSU people who knew her, I send my deep condolensces. Does anyone know how to contact her husband and other members of her family? Dania

For those of you who knew her, I'm sad to share the news that Beth Logan
passed away this morning. She retired from FSU School of Information
Science in 2001.

Her family and close friends are tentatively planning a musical memorial
service for the morning of Monday, February 19th.

Beth was on the ASIS&T Board, 1993-95, had chaired and been a member of the
Education, Research and Publications Committees, Chaired SIG ED and served
on juries and in many other ways.
