Below is a message from the "Committee to Examine the Methodology for the 
Assessment of Research-Doctorate Programs" of the National Academy of 
Sciences.  They are seeking input for a revision of the "NRC Rankings," and 
invite specific input on how to better incorporate interdisciplinary 
programs and emerging areas.
