Student Chap checklist as model is attached.  Revenue for people joining
SIGs last year was about $7700.00.

Some stuff for your contact with the sheep (given that you are all
shepherds).

1. We can give one officer per SIG access to run "SIG ROSTERS."  This list
all the members, based on a date specified, with complete mail address and
e-mail, as well as what other SIGs the person is a member of, with join and
expiration dates.

That can enable officer to find who is new, etc.  Can come PDF or CSV for
spreadsheet that is more sortable and sarchable.

[This is another problem - that info such as this is not used, never mind
passed along to next.]

2. New officers probably have no idea who is moderating their e-mail list.
I've compiled that in attached spreadsheet.

BUT, we never automatically sign people to lists.  That is an individual
prerogative.  And that means that not all of a SIGs members will be on the
SIGs e-mail list.  They do not all sign up.  So the info from 1 above can be
used to update the SIG lists -- BUT some will get up with multiple
subscriptions unless it is done carefully.  E-mails change, as we know.  For
example, adding KT's gmail address would be new and she would have that and
her UNC address.

It can be inconvenient to get list of list members through the system.  I
can pull them as system admin for the entire mail system.  Would do so on
individual SIG requests.
