[Sig-l] ASIS&T Career Profiles - An introduction to ASIS&T and information science

Hello Chapter and SIG officers,

The Membership Committee is developing a section of the ASIS&T website as
career profiles of ASIS&T members so students, new information professionals
and potential members can get a sense of who we are. We are currently
soliciting profiles through SIG and Chapter officers as well as committees
and past award winners. We have a few profiles up to show as examples to get
the ball rolling

We are hoping that you'll be willing to submit a profile and encourage the
ASIS&T colleagues you know (in your SIG or chapter or beyond) to do so as
well (please feel free to forward this email).

It's pretty simple, just three things.

I hope that you can respond to these items and allow us to include your
profile:

1. Brief biography (including education and current job title)
2. "How has ASIS&T contributed to your career?"
3. "What advice do you have for someone entering the field?"
** and a current photo would be nice.
