 Hi Vicki:

Do you know what is the timeline for general ASIST website redesign? I'm
wondering what impact this redesign may have on the SIG webpages design
and future updating. The answer to this question will help SIG USE
determine if at this point we should embark on our own, SIG webpage
redesign or just simply update the current page.

Cheers,

Sanda Erdelez

As a directive from the new ASIST President, I have been asked to
oversee the updating of the SIG websites. A guick look says that some
are up-to-date, some were updated during 2003, and some were last
updated a couple of years and contain a lot of very old information.

The information on the SIG sites does influence how others view our
organization, so it is important to keep them up-to-date.

I am asking all officers to view your own websites to determine if your
information is current with no embarrassing references to such
information as programs to be presented in 2002 or even earlier.

We need to get this done by the end of December at the very latest. I
know this is a busy time of year, but we really do need to get this
done!

Vicki
