Hoping to draw on the success of Apple's portable music player, Levi Strauss on Wednesday said it plans to market iPod-compatible jeans. 

Dubbed RedWire, the jeans are scheduled to be available worldwide by the fall. They will come with an assortment of features designed for the music player, including special pockets with a docking cradle, a joystick remote control, and a retractable headphone unit.
