Posting Text:  This position works with librarians all across South 
Dakota by providing consultations and problem solving.  Knowledge of 
libraries and automation systems is required as is the ability to 
train.  Depending upon qualifications, this position could act as 
Associate Director of SDLN.  Preference will be given to those with a 
MLS, knowledge of Aleph software, inter-library loan, and library consortia.

Department Description and Cultural Expectations: The South Dakota 
Library Network (SDLN) office is on the campus of Black Hills State 
University in Spearfish, SD.  SDLN provides library automation 
systems and support to over 70 full member libraries of all types and 
170 remote members across the state.  The member libraries provide 
the sole funding for SDLN.
