Information Technology Specialist/Desktop Environment

Plans and administers a program of selection, implementation, and support
for the library's desktop and laptop environment; plans and administers a
secure and stable environment (including the Active Directory Domain);
evaluates both immediate and long-term desktop options; plans and
coordinates a program of staff computer training; and supervises clerical
and student staff. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or
related field plus at least two years of experience with workstation
hardware, software and peripherals required. Student work experience will be
considered. Candidate must be able to work well in a team and communicate
effectively. Experience with Windows XP and Active Directory preferred.
