We are conducting a short survey for the American Society of Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T) to learn how ASIS&T could better meet the needs of information professionals throughout Europe.

As you may know, ASIS&T (http://www.asis.org) is a society for information professionals. Membership today includes some 4,000 information specialists from such fields as computer science, linguistics, management, librarianship, engineering, law, medicine, chemistry, and education. Members share a common interest in improving the ways society stores, retrieves, analyzes, manages, archives disseminates and uses information.

Could you please spend 10-15 minutes answering a short questionaire sharing your ideas about how ASIS&T could better serve you and your colleagues in Europe. Full anonimity is secured.

You’ll find the survey at this link:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=116143598440

Please forward this request on to your information and library science colleagues and students throughout Europe.
We would like to hear from as many individuals in Europe as possible. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Findings from the survey will be available on the ASIS&T European Chapter web page ( http://www.asis.org/Chapters/europe/) in the future.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration! Our apologies for any cross-postings.

Sincerely,

Diane Sonnenwald, Cassidy Pratt and Caryn Anderson
