Los Angeles Chapter Members & Friends,

Let me know if you will be at the ASIS&T Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA.  Here are a few things you may want to think about attending in addition to all the great conference sessions:

Sunday

10:30 am          Chapter Assembly
Our Treasurer Kristen LaBonte will be our official rep, but this is a good way to find out what other cool things chapters are doing.

12:00 pm          New Members Brunch
You need to be a new member to ASIS&T for this one.  This is a great way to meet people.  Plus there is food :)

5:30pm L          Leadership Program
This year the committee is headed by our very own Marianne Afifi, and the program will focus on getting more engaged in ASIS&T committees.

Tuesday

8:00am             Chapter Planning Breakfast
Kristen and Sarah will attend, but all are welcome to come and share chapter accomplishments and frustrations.  Plus it is free breakfast and good networking :)

12:00pm           Awards Luncheon
This lunch is included in the conference registration.  Try and sit together and up towards the front.  Kristen and Sarah will receive the Chapter of the Year Award, but everyone will probably want to join in for the picture.

6:30pm             LACASIS No-Host Networking Dinner @ ASIST Annual
We will depart by cab from the conference lobby at 6:30, so we can get people back by SIG Con, which is a fun evening program that starts at 8:00pm.  The restaurant will be .  Please email me at amy.wallace at csuci.edu<mailto:amy.wallace at csuci.edu> as soon as possible so I can make reservations.
