Thanks very much to Janet and Aaron for bringing up this issue of having 
guidelines and standards for asis&t chapter logos!

We will come up with some general guidelines, but we don't want too many 
rules which could restrict your imagination.

For the time being, as a bare minimum, please include the name "ASIS&T" 
with some prominence in the logo.

I agree with Janet on this point... The Pacific Northwest chapter
currently has no official logo, and I'd love to have some guidelines
for designing a new one.

Once guidelines have been established, it would also be very helpful
to have vector source files for constructing the new logos. Standard
file formats for these are .ai or .eps, which allow lossless
reproduction and large format printing.
