Hello Jan,  and Everyone Else,

   Attached is the latest program - let's go with this and make it live,
along with the registration; as Jan noted, we can always add in the virtual
registration later (i.e. next week - we need a decision soon).

   I expect a few more speaker bios will be added to the program, but there
is certainly enough information right now to get folks interested - and to
start the publicity process; this will also allow Nadia to saw something in
her next President's Column of the Bulletin.

   So, Jan: let's take this latest version and make it live.  

   Everyone - we can still tweet this program, so feel free to keep the
feedback, updates, etc., going.

   Feeling excited!! And so grateful to all of you for your help.

Michael,

Just to clarify:  I don't have a problem with a separate registration for
the afternoon.  It just seems like saying people have to pay to come to one
of the programs in the afternoon make me interpret that if I want to come to
the other event in the afternoon only then I don't have to pay anything.
That just does not seem right.

   Hmmm.  I can see your point.  The reasoning behind this "separate
registration" concept was: the public libraries program, by Nadia and
Denise, just might attract local public librarians, who would be interested
in just this part of the whole day program and who might not have enough
time to take off a full day of work, but could justify a two hour program.
Given that the strategic plans wants us to reach out to all manner of
professionals, this was targeted as such.

   That said, I am not "wedded" to a separate registration - so, what do
others think?

Michael, 

I really don't think we should charge $15 for a single program except if
they are planning a big handout.  If people are not doing all day, it will
discourage them from going to that single event in the afternoon.

I agree with "Non-ASIST students" option - in general, what Heather
suggested.

We should finalize this ASAP and start announcing. Can ASIST HQ set up the
registration and payment system? Again, this needs to happen very soon given
that we are exactly one month away from this event.

Michael,

I would make the afternoon registration just that; don't separate for just
the one program.  So:

Afternoon (after lunch) Program:

ASIS&T Member: $15

ASIST&T Student Member: $10

Non-ASIS&T Student registration: $25

Non-ASIS&T Registration: $35

I would also add a Non-ASIS&T Student registration for the day:

Non-ASIS&T Student registration: $50

Non-ASIS&T Registration: $70
