hearing no objections - I just cast the following votes:

Systematic Review of ISO 12083:1994 (vers 4) Information and documentation -- Electronic manuscript preparation and markup - CONFIRM

Systematic Review of ISO 8777:1993 (vers 4) Information and documentation -- Commands for interactive text searching - WITHDRAW

the following comments were submitted with the WITHDRAW vote:

1) the standard was not implemented to any real degree
2) there are not a lot of command line interfaces being built these days
3) the NISO version Z39.58 has already been withdrawn by NISO


Approval of ICIA's request for Category A-Liaison with ISO/TC46/SC9 - YES

if anyone has any problems or objections we have until 9/11 to change our vote on the 1st two - and 10/16 on the liaison vote

Also just a reminder - there are a few more ISO votes coming due on 9/14 - I believe I have distributed the relevant documents but if anyone needs a copy of any of them let me know
