1) Systematic Review of ISO 690:2010 (Ed 3) Information and documentation -- Guidelines for bibliographic references and citations to information resources
ISO TC46/SC9
This International Standard gives guidelines for the preparation of bibliographic references. It also gives guidelines for the preparation of citations in Latin scripts in works that are not themselves primarily bibliographical. It is applicable to bibliographic references and citations to all kinds of information resources,
including but not limited to monographs, serials, contributions, patents, cartographic materials, electronic information resources (including computer software and databases), music, recorded sound, prints, photographs, graphic and audiovisual works, and moving images. It is not applicable to machine-parsable citations. It is also not applicable to legal citations, which have their own standards.
This International Standard does not prescribe a particular style of reference or citation. The examples used in this International Standard are not prescriptive as to style and punctuation.
Annexes A and B make reference to the relevant clause(s) of this International Standard which explain the requirements for referencing or citing printed and electronic information resources. Annex C gives examples of bibliographic references that comply with this International Standard.

2) Systematic Review for Notification of ISO 11108:1996 Information and documentation - Archival paper - Requirements for permanence and durability
This is a ballot for the five-year systematic review of the TC46/SC10 standard ISO 11108:1996 (vers 4) Information and documentation - Archival paper - Requirements for permanence and durability
This International Standard specifies the requirements for archival paper. It is applicable to unprinted papers intended for documents and publications required for permanent retention and frequent use. For these documents
and publications, paper of high permanence and high durability is required.
NOTES:
1 Archival paper is primarily required for documents and publications intended to be kept permanently because of their high historical, legal or other significant value. Archival paper is for special purposes, not for common use. The use of the term “archival paper” does not imply that all papers kept in archives are “archival papers”.
2 The relationship between this International Standard and IS0 9706 is described in annex A.
If you are using this standard, please indicate that in your comments.
Your voting options are:

3) Systematic Review for Notification of ISO 11798:1999 (vers 3) Information and documentation - Information and documentation — Permanence and durability of writing, printing and copying on paper — Requirements and test methods
This is a ballot for the five-year systematic review of the TC46/SC10 standard ISO 11798:1999, Information and documentation —Permanence and durability of writing, printing and copying on paper — Requirements and test methods
This International Standard specifies requirements and test methods for evaluation of the permanence and durability of writing, printing and copying on paper stored in libraries, archives and other protected environments for
long periods of time. It is applicable to images on paper with the exception of documents within the scope of ISO/TC42, Photography; multicoloured images.
The information contents of multicoloured images should be retained but not necessarily the full artistic quality of the coloured image. Documents where the information contents are influenced by small colour changes are not covered
by this International Standard.
It does not apply to
documents stored under harmful conditions, such as high humidity that may promote microbiological attack, excessive heat, radiation (e.g. light), high levels of pollutants, or the influence of water. Since documents may be kept in non-protected environments before being transferred to protected environments, resistance to water and light is, however, of importance;
legal documentation, e.g. banking documents, where the authenticity is of primary interest.
If you are using this standard, please indicate that in your comments.

5) New Work Item Proposal: Revision of ISO 8 Presentation of Periodicals Including PIE-J: The Presentation & Identification of E-Journals
This ballot was deleted and resubmitted due to missing documents not added in the reference section.
A revision and update of the standard to include recommendations for electronic periodicals.
This is a TC46 new work item proposal to develop a new standard on the Revision of ISO 8 Presentation of periodicals including PIE-J: The Presentation & Identification of E-Journals.
The standard was created when periodicals were published and distributed in print forms; now, a large percentage of periodicals are now published in digital form via the World Wide Web. This work will update the standard to ensure that requirements for effective and informative presentation of periodicals published in electronic form are fulfilled.
The complete new work item proposal is available from the ballot webpage and the link in the announcement email. Also included is NISO RP-16-2013, PIE-J, which will be used as input for the updated international standard.
If the US votes to approve this as a new project, we are expected to name at least one expert who will work on this standard's development. If you would like to nominate someone, please include the name and contact information in your comments. Please obtain that person's agreement in advance to work on this project.
We are also required to provide a justification statement for why we think this is or is not a worthwhile/useful project (depending on whether we vote yes or no). Please provide such a statement in the comments for your Affirmative or Negative vote. Consider whether you think this standard will be used in the U.S.
