i just voted YES on

New Work Item Proposal to Revise ISO 25577:2008 Information and 
documentation -- MarcXchange

with the following comment ( comments now required on YES votes on New 
Work Items)

Allowing included embedded metadata will add flexibility and enhanced 
functionality to the standard

ps - I realize folks are busy but I feel a little guilty since i seem to 
be casting votes solely on my own determination and feel I may not be 
representing the consensus of the committee
