Call for Participation

The Annual Conference of the ACM Special Interest Group on Information Retrieval (SIGIR) is the major international forum for the presentation of new research results and the demonstration of new systems and techniques in the field of information retrieval (IR), also known as search. SIGIR 2012 will take place in Portland, Oregon, USA from August 12-16, 2012. The conference begins with a day of tutorials and the Doctoral Consortium (August 12), followed by three days of research presentations and keynote speakers (August 13-15), concluding with a day of workshops (August 16).
