Job Opening, Assistant or Associate University Librarian for Academic
Services at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo
Cal Poly’s Kennedy Library is seeking an innovative and collaborative
leader to serve as Assistant or Associate University Librarian for
Academic Services in San Luis Obispo, California. The successful
candidate will have the opportunity to lead sustained innovations in
learning and research support services, working with an outstanding
faculty and staff team of 19, including seven direct reports, and
collaborating closely with Library, Information Services, and campus
partners.
We welcome candidates who are committed to our vision of the library
as a participatory and rapidly evolving university center of engaged
community and learning. The AUL will play a key role in
conceptualizing, designing, delivering, and improving collaborative
user-focused services that contribute to the academic success of
faculty and students, as demonstrated and improved through continuous
evaluation of evidence of impact and value.
Anticipated Hiring Range is $90,000 - $112,000 (compensation and title
commensurate with qualifications and experience). Application review
