[Asis-l] ASIST collaborative book Intro to Information Science & Technology

Help create *Introduction to Information Science and Technology*, an 
introductory textbook for our field. IIST is a collaborative creation of 
ASIS&T members, edited by Ralf Shaw & Chuck Davis.

More than 70 members have contributed to the wiki that houses the first 
draft of this unique collaborative work. A new textbook based on the IIST 
wiki will be published by Information Today, Inc. on behalf of ASIS&T.
The wiki will live on as a dynamic resource, featuring in-depth 
presentations that enhance & supplement the printed text.
