I/S:  A Journal of Law and Policy for the Information Society -- published 
collaboratively by Ohio State's Center for Interdisciplinary Law and Policy 
Studies and by InSITeS at Carnegie Mellon's Heinz School -- has received 
the following notification from the Berkeley Electronic Press:

"I/S: A Journal of Law & Policy for the Information Society has been ranked 
as one of the top subject-specific law reviews in the '2006 ExpressO Law 
Review Submission Guide.' . . . Law reviews are ranked according to the 
number of manuscripts received via ExpressO.   The rankings drive our 
popular law review submission guide that institutions are using to educate 
their faculty on submission and publishing strategies."

I/S actually ranks 8th among subject-matter journals served by ExpressO 
that are perceived to have a special interest in science and technology. 
Most interesting, of the Top 10 journals, I/S is the only one that mentions 
neither "Science," nor "Technology" in its title!

We are still eagerly soliciting proposals for contributions to a fall, 2006 
issue of I/S on The Future of Telecommunications Reform.  Brief proposals 
should reach us by June 15.  Full details are available at 
www.is-journal.org.
