[Asis-l] Amanda Spink Appointed to NICTA

[Professor Amanda Spink]

Amanda Spink, Professor of Information Technology at the Queensland University of Technology has accepted a joint appointment as a Senior Researcher at the National Information and Communication Australia (NICTA) [HTTP://WWW.nicta.coma.au]. NICTA plays a major role in the Australian Government’s policy to promote science and innovation and capitalise on Australia’s extensive ICT talent through world-class basic and applied research, commercialisation, and Australian and international industry collaboration.

Professor Spink is a world-class ICT researcher who will  conduct research funded by NICTA into information behavior and cognitive information retrieval. She has an extensive international research and publication record, and has many successful industry collaborations.
