on Digital Libraries (JCDL) to be held June 11 - 15, 2006 at the University

This year's conference will include a number of activities including a
plenary address on Tuesday, June 13 by Jonathan Zittrain of the Berkman
Center for Internet & Society, Harvard Law School and Oxford Internet
Institute, University of Oxford. The title of his presentation is "Open
Information: Redaction, Restriction, and Removal."

On Monday, June 12, a panel discussion entitled "Getting Books Online:
Practices and Strategies" will be a featured event. Panelists include:

* Daniel Clancy, Engineer Director for Google Print
* David Ferriero, Andrew W. Mellon Director and Chief Executive The
Research Libraries, New York Public Library
