New Members Join IEEE Library Advisory Council

19 May 2005 -- Piscataway, NJ -- The IEEE this week announced the addition
of six new members to the IEEE Library Advisory Council. They include:

      Jagdish Arora, Indian National Digital Library in Engineering Science
      Consortium (INDEST)
      Jay Bhatt, Drexel University
      Kathy L. Nordhaus, Raytheon Company
      Tracy Primich, Ford Motor Company
      Priscilla Ubysz, Pratt & Whitney
      Sarah White, QUALCOMM

They join returning members of the Advisory Council, who include:

      Susan Ardis, The University of Texas at Austin
      Rudi G. Bakker, Eindhoven University of Technology
      Beth Brin, Boise State University
      Cheryl Cohen, Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical
      Information (CISTI)
      Mariann Cyr, 3M
      Bradley E. Gernand, The Institute for Defense Analyses

Formed in 1999, the IEEE Library Advisory Council brings together a group
of international corporate, academic, and government librarians who consult
with IEEE to help develop products and policies. Members provide the IEEE
with feedback from a broad range of libraries and information centers
subscribing to IEEE products. Members serve two-year terms, and meet with
IEEE representatives by phone and in person several times a year.
