Our client, the premier specialized management consulting firm serving
the pharmaceutical and biotech industries is currently seeking a
Research Center Manager .
The Pharmaceutical Institute (PI) is building the largest single library
of pharmaceutical and biotechnology information, and training resources
in the world.
This position will work closely with the Executive Director in New
Jersey. The position is based in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Research
Center Manager will build and manage the Research Center, including the
Book and Published Materials and Market Research Sections. He or she
will also manage a custom research business and will work with the
Research Group on both billable and non billable projects as time
permits.
The ideal candidate will have the demonstrated ability to interpret
information requirements, to identify appropriate resources for finding
the needed information, and to execute complex search strategies based
on thorough knowledge of the information resources used.
In addition, the successful candidate must have the ability to
multi-task and to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced
environment. Solid knowledge of pharmaceutical research required.
This position offers a very competitive compensation package, including

An ALA-accredited Master's Degree in Library Science is required.
