UNC-Chapel Hill SILS Summer Seminars in Oxford and Slovenia

Don't miss an exciting opportunity to go abroad this summer! There are a 
few spaces left in the Oxford and Slovenia summer seminars for LIS students 
and professionals who want to learn more about librarianship or take a 
summer course for credit. Registration is open until February 28, 2005.

The Oxford seminar, led by Dr. Barbara Moran from UNC and experts from the 
Bodleian Library, provides an overview of British librarianship. The 
program is centered in Oxford but participants visit the British Library in 
London and have opportunities for additional travel in England. The seminar 
will take place May 15-28, 2005. Visit our Web site at

The Slovenia seminar, led by Dr. Jerry D. Saye from UNC and experts from 
the University of Ljubljana, provides an overview of librarianship in 
Slovenia. In addition to lectures, you will also take trips to see castles, 
monasteries and the oldest settlement in the country dating back to Roman 
times. The seminar will take place June 5-18, 2005. Visit our Web site at
