SIG USE is delighted to announce the inauguration of five awards that
will be given at the 2005 ASIST conference.  These awards and their
amounts are:

Best Information Behavior Conference Poster ($200; all IB posters will
be automatically considered)

Best Information Behavior Conference Paper ($200; all IB papers will be
automatically considered)

Elfreda A. Chatman Research Proposal Award ($1000; application deadline
Sept. 15th, 2005)

Master's Student Travel Award ($300; application deadline Sept. 1st.
2005)

PhD Student Travel Award ($300; application deadline Sept. 1st. 2005)
