Information and Knowledge Management Program

Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer in Information Design, Architecture
and Content Management (Ref no: 20504, closing date 30 June 2004)

Applications are invited for a full time, tenure-track position at either 
Associate Professor or Senior Lecturer level in information design, 
architecture and content management.   The position is available from 
February 2005.  We are seeking a person who will develop and lead research 
and teach in the structuring and design of information and supervise 
research degree students. The successful applicant will have a PhD in 
information science or an area relevant to information science, successful 
experience and leadership in teaching and curriculum development at 
university level; an active and substantial record of research and 
publication and a record of success in attracting competitive research 
grants.  Mid-career academics with an established record of research and 
funding are particularly encouraged to apply.

The Information and Knowledge Management Program at UTS is one of 
Australia's leading information science programs.  It has a reputation for 
innovative curricula and user-centred research and offers undergraduate and 
postgraduate coursework degrees and higher degrees by research.
Salary range:
Senior Lecturer: Aus$69,957 to $80,530 pa
Associate Professor: Aus$84,054 to $92,510 pa
Appointment will be made at the appropriate level, based on the successful 
applicant's qualifications and experience.
The University offers salary packaging plus attractive superannuation.
