Two full time public library Reference Librarian positions are available 
with the St. Charles City - County Library District, one at the branch 
located in St. Peters, MO and one at the branch located in O'Fallon, MO. 
Both branches serve the greater St. Charles County area.  Duties include 
heavy public service in general reference responding to customer inquiries 
in person, by telephone and by email using general reference collections 
and electronic resource products. Provide electronic and bibliographic 
instruction. Participate in materials selection and collection management.

Work schedule will include days, evenings and Saturdays.  Must have an 
accredited Masters in Library Science degree and excellent communication 
skills. Prefer experience in public libraries, with electronic information 
systems, bibliographic instruction, and a willingness to work on web page 
design.

In addition, one of the positions will assist in providing ancillary 
support to the Non-Profit Services Librarian. Experienced preferred but not 
required in this area.

New graduates will be considered. Excellent benefits and salary from 
$36,852 to $44,856 for MLS; and $41,472 to $50,436 with a second masters.

The St. Charles City-County Library District is a Hennen's top American
