Cni-announce subscribers will be pleased to learn that 
CNI's executive director Clifford A. Lynch has been named 
the 2004 recipient of the American Library Association 
(ALA) Lippincott Award.  The award "recognizes an 
individual for distinguished service to the profession of 
librarianship."  The award will be presented Tuesday, June 
29 at the ALA Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida.
