Hi all,

In a follow up to April's Patriot Act discussion,
public radio has some interesting broadcasts. 

Wednesday on KUOW's Weekday, the topic was
debated by a local FBI spokesman and an ALA legal
spokeswoman. And today on KPLU is a news blurb (2
min.) about Seattle Public Library's stand on the
issue.

The Seattle Public Library Board may consider
openly defying the Patriot Act. The controversial
Act gives federal agents new powers to review
library records. As KPLU Law and Justice Reporter
Paula Wissel explains, the Board has already
taken action to ensure patrons understand the
ramifications of the law.
