Subject: [Asis-l] Questions for candidates
===8<==============Original message text===============
Good and timely question Toni, thanks.
About education:
May be we can use the technology in order to provide a better and
easier access to the many resources that are covering these issues.
May be we can mobilize members and the young generation that faces the
advent of Big Brother to help organize these resources. And to
contribute original pieces.
For sure we can propose more courses and debates.
About influencing
Hopefully providing a better and more visible focus would help. But
once more it is by cooperating with the many organisation, academic
and NGO's that are actively engaged in the policy discussion and
formulation processes that we might have our share in the difficult
exercise of bringing more sense.
This assumes that "information" organizations will also liaise with
the many other societal interests that are directly concerned. Policy
is by nature holistic.
