Greetings!

Ever nominated someone for the Watson Davis Award? Now would be a good
time to do it! The nomination deadline is July 15. It's easy to get
the ball rolling, too - all you have to do is write a letter of
nomination, develop a list of the nominee's contributions to the Society
(Headquarters can help), and round up a few good letters of support.
Full particulars are available at http://www.asis.org/awards/davis.htm.
Send the whole package to HQ by July 15.

The results are worth the effort - every winner with whom I've spoken
tells me that winning the Watson Davis Award was one of his or her
proudest moments! It's one of our Society's most prestigious awards,
recognizing someone "who has shown continuous dedicated service to the
membership through active participation in and support of ASIST
programs, chapters, SIGs, committees, and publications."

So, if you have a favorite associate, mentor or someone who always
seems to be doing a lot for ASIST, please take this opportunity to
reward those labors!

Thanks,

Steve Hardin
